If you are fan of royal history, you can take a tour in the Château de Chenonceau, once the residency of Queen Catherine de Medici. On a sunny day you can also visit the gardens on the exterior of the Château de Villandry, which are known for their beauty with labyrinths, fountains and paths to explore.
And for the fans of art, be sure to visit what once was the residence of Leonardo da Vinci. It is now a museum that features the region’s history and models of many of da Vinci’s invented machines, as well as a replica of the Mona Lisa.
Alas, you can never visit France without tasting their wine. You can take a tour at the Bouvet-Ladubay wine tasting, one of the best producers of sparking wine.
